RPS P&C SubCommittee Descriptions

    As per the Constitution, at the AGM – all positions will be vacated.  Please see a list below of all positions and a brief description. The more the merrier, if you feel you would like to contribute to our school please have a think about joining the P&C.   For more information please contact the Secretary Victoria Muller

    Description

    President

    Head honcho – chair all meetings, work with the Executive to set annual objectives for the P&C.  Liaise directly with the School Principal.

    Vice President 1

    Head Honcho’s 2IC – step in when President not available.  Work directly with the Executive.

    Vice President 2 / WWCC Officer

    Head Honcho’s other 2IC.  Also responsible for managing the WWCC requirements of the P&C and ensure we are adhering to the policy.

    Treasurer

    The Buck stops here! Set and manage the P&C budget, making payments where necessary, assist all fundraising committees where necessary.  Ensure all insurances are up to date.

    Assistant Treasurer

    Help with the big job above.  Check the treasurer can add up!

    Secretary

    Manage all communications with members and external groups.  Take minutes from all meetings.  Recorder and keeper of all important information.

    Social/Fundraising Coordinator

    The Fun One! Ensure social calendar is up to date, communicate to parents via class parents.  P&C Liaison for all parent groups especially Year 3 and Year 6 Committees.

    Sponsorship Coordinator

    Work with the Executive to obtain sponsors for different school events eg. Yr 3 fundraiser, Welcome Picnic

    Auditor

    Make sure the Treasurer and Executive are ticking all the boxes and doing the things the ‘right way’.

    Allergy Committee Coordinator

    Help the Deputy Principal with allergy awareness.

    Band Convenor

    Chair the band sub-committee meetings and oversee the band programme.

    Banking Coordinators

    Organise rosters for volunteers and liaison between P&C and CBA.

    Canteen Coordinators

    Oversee the canteen committee and canteen convenor, organise special days.

    Clothing Pool Coordinator

    Run the uniform shop and manage volunteers

    Community Advertising Coordinator

    Liaise with community groups and place advertisements in bulletin

    Home Zone Coordinator

    Organise roster for home zone

    School Watch Coordinator

    Organise roster for school watch volunteers

    Sports Committee Coordinator

    Work directly with the school to assist with sporting carnivals.

    Website Coordinators                    

    Manage the P&C website and work with the different parent groups to have up to date info, purchase forms etc

    Tuckerbox Coordinator

    Work with the school to ensure we have meals and support for families in need.

    Legal/Risk Advisor

    Occasional on call advice where necessary

    HR Advisor

    Occasional on call advice where necessary

    Multi-Cultural Liaison

    Communicating with different parent groups
