How we raise valuable funds?
The P&C works in consultation with our Principal Mr Sean Moran, and the teaching staff to foster a positive learning environment with a strong sense of inquisitive expression.
This output is only accomplished by having a highly active and engaged parent community that collaborates to deliver enjoyable, social, and community-focused fundraising activities. Each year, the P&C aims to raise over $150,000. The funds raised go towards educational support and facility upgrades the school would not otherwise have.
The P&C raise funds through 4 main channels.
- Voluntary Contributions – Voluntary Contributions are collected by the P&C annually via a $210 per child levy from our generous parents. This money supplements NSW Government funding and helps the school purchase valuable resources for both inside the classroom and externally.
- Fundraising Events & Activities (e.g. Yearly Social Event / Fair etc.) – The yearly fundraising event involves parents and celebrates our school community’s flair and diversity. Additionally, we focus 1 key fundraising event per term, including Welcome Picnic, Readathon, Colour Run, Mother & Father Day’s, among other activities.
